My classmate, Melanie Cressdecided to tell her twitterive story about the changes of being a Mother. I really liked Melanies colorful twitterive. I love that everything in her twitterive is the color purple. I also like the "How to Make a Lillia" section. I thought it was very original and cute. I think that the best part of Melanie's Twitterive is her poem, "Lillia, My Little Dove". I thought it was very cool that she took lines from each of her Tweets and complied a poem that actually flowed well.
The next classmate that presented her Twitterive was Kristin Schoch. Kristin decided to write her Twitterive about the relationship she has with her car. I thought this was a very interesting topic to write about and the more and more I read about it, I liked it. I was very impressed with all the pictures that Kristin was able to add in her Twitterive. I also like her choice of music to fit along with her "driving" experiences. I also found it very interesting that Kristin was able to tell a little back story of her car to help the audience feel more connected.
Another classmate that was able to share their story with me was, Danielle McCleery. Danielle chose to writer her Twitterive about her childhood home that she grew up in. I paid special attention to Danielle's piece because I thought it was pretty similar to my story. We are both writing about a house that has changed in many many ways. I really liked that Danielle was able to put a picture of the Deed of the House up on her twitterive. I thought that would be a good idea to add to my Twitterive but unfortunately I can't get a hold of the deed that easily. I also thought that adding pictures of the house before and after it had the construction done was a very good way to SHOW that the house actually has changed. Adding the blue print to the house is also another good touch. I think the best part of the Twitterive is the "Recipe to Make a Home." I like this idea the best because it shows the audience that a home is not just 4 walls and a roof. It helps to paint the picture of all the memories Danielle experienced in that particular home.
Overall, I think that watching other people present their Twitterive helped me get a few more ideas I may try on my own Twitterive. I wish I had a chance to display my twitterive to the class to get some ideas from them but I did enjoy looking at the Twitterives that were presented.
