Scaffolding is an major type of collaboration. This is where two peple come together to create one project. The two group members talk, discuss, and share all ideas with one another to collaborate towards the project.
Dialogic collaboration is a little different. This is where the project group roles may be split up for each person to do their share. On the other hand the members may all work together. In the end all of the pieces are put together for one final piece. This type of collaboration requries alot of talking or dialogue.
The next type of collaboration is hierarchial. This one has the least amount of interaction throughout the project. This is where they decided in the begining that all of the work will be diveded up juast as dialogic but no ideas are really shared until the end when everything comes together.
Througout my professional and educational career I have participated in all of these types of collaboration. I would have to say that the one I like to participate the most in is the hierarchial. I like this type of collaboration the best because I enjoy doing work alone rather then working with a group. This type of collaboration seems to be the most popular type anyway within my college classes anway. All of the project will be divided and then we just put everything together at the end. I have also participated in scaffolding throughtout my career and education. I think that over the years of work and school I have adapted well to being able to participate in all the ty
